I don't even know where to begin talking about the supplies that went in to making this bag flip. I used a normal little white lunch bag that you can find in bulk at Walmart for cheap. The supplies are a magpie's mixture gleaned from Michael's and Tuesday Morning. And that pumpkin sticker on the bottom? I purchased that 5 years ago from Target.
I've mentioned I hoard craft supplies. I hiss at anyone suggesting I might destash my hoard. I understand that some people find it cathartic to get rid of items they aren't using anymore. In the realm of craft supplies, I do not understand. Very rarely do I throw down a craft I don't pick up anymore. It's wasteful to send it to the thrift store. Sure, someone might buy it-and someone might not, resulting in it going into the trash anyway. Come for my craft supplies, and I will come at you with my fangs.
This is pretty much a Lawn Fawn Halloween bag. Stamps by Lawn Fawn. Dies by Lawn Fan. I needed a Halloween donut, so I used my circle die to cut out two circles. I trimmed the glaze down and added the sprinkle die cuts. The raised dots are straight-up t shirt paint. I know there are brands out there that offer something similar at a huge mark-up, but I lived through the 90's: I can sniff out t-shirt paint.
This was just too cute. I got the digis from Etsy, and I knew I wanted to make a sweeter bag with them. You know, something without blood dripping or eyeballs hanging. I used watercolor makers on them, and I think they turned out okay. The paper is from Michael's Halloween 2018 line.
It's hard to describe these finished pieces. It reminds me of ladies on Youtube trying to describe items from a shopping haul. You know, where they pick up a yellow shirt and tell you it's a yellow shirt? Would you rather hear stories, just see image posts, or do you want me to keep rambling on describing the images?
